Registration for the Spring 2023 season is now open via USA Rugby's new portal - Rugby Xplorer (which is actually an Australian website, but we shall try not to hold that against them!).
Its a little bit of an extended process, and I would urge you to download and read the instructions above BEFORE you go ahead and start!!!
Club registration includes a club t-shirt (for casual/practice) and rugby shorts (practice & game day).
Notes from Coach Colin:
A) 7 year olds should be able to register in either U8s Rookie (Flag) or U10s (Tackle) depending on how physical they want to get!
B) The total registration fee for this season is $176 for U10s-U15s ($140 for U8s) ... of which we as a club get $65 - the rest goes to the National and State organizations, plus there is the inevitable credit card fee! [you will see the exact breakdown on the payment screen]
So I reduced the club fee from the previous $90 to $65, as everything else has gone up, but I wanted to try and make our club as accessible as possible.
The official age for participation is determined on May 1 of the year of play. For example, if a player is 11 on May 1 and turns 12 on May 2, they are eligible to play with U12 that season. Additionally, Rugby Colorado adheres to a weight chart system to place Boys Middle School players.
